Targa Resources Partners LP Acquires Sound
Refining, Inc. With a Goal of Additional Investment
at the Facilities

Targa Resources Partners LP (NYSE: NGLS) (“Targa
Resources Partners” or the “Partnership”) today announced
that its wholly owned subsidiary Targa Sound Terminal LLC
(“Targa Sound Terminal” or the “Terminal”) has acquired
Sound Refining, Inc. of Tacoma, Washington. Targa Sound
Terminal is a petroleum terminal located on the Hylebos
Waterway in the Port of Tacoma. The Terminal has 758,000
barrels of capacity and handles refined petroleum products,
LPG’s and biofuels, including biodiesel and ethanol.
